Scope of the General Cosmology Laboratory : Fundamental research in
mathematical and in theoretical physics. Special emphasis on the
studies of the primordial Universe, in particular quantum cosmology
beyond the Planck scale. Of special interest are algebras of
operators, theory of modular automorphisms and the KMS theory,
applications of the theory of quantum groups, topological field
theory, information and dynamics of quantum fluctuations. At the same
time one of the objectives of GCL is to popularize the progress in
science, stressing the multidisciplinary aspects, and encouraging the
increase of public knowledge of the recent advances in the field of
fundamental research.
